Conservation technology anyone can afford.

We believe technology should aid conservation research, not stand in the way of it. By providing low-cost instrumentation, designed by scientists for scientists, our goal is to bring down the cost of data collection in remote and threatened habitats.

Next-Generation Reef Monitoring & Enrichment

Built around the KiloCam PCB and invented in 2020, this system provides fully automated imaging of marine environments day and night. Proven to capture short-duration events such as coral spawning, and equipped with a BlueRobotics Lumen LED with adjustable brightness for nighttime imagery or attracting plankton for coral feeding.

KiloCam

Our most impactful instrument. This small, Arduino-based circuit board attaches to the rear of cheap ESP32-Cam units and transforms them into reliable low-cost habitat monitoring cameras.

CoralCam

It all began with an idea: How can we take multiple photos a day of coral reefs without having to dive on them each day? CoralCam was the answer. Robust, well-tested, and capable of capturing both photos or video, this circuit board integrates with retail action cameras to capture high-resolution habitat data when you need it.
