To date more than 40 of these units have been shipped worldwide from Columbia to Zanzibar and everywhere in between. Most custom cameras feature a KiloCam assembly in a custom 3D-printed carriage mounted within either an acrylic or aluminum underwater housing.
Need to monitor coral spawning? These are the single most cost effective method to do so and have a proven record of documenting coral spawning at intervals as fine as five minutes. Variants built with an onboard LED can be used for monitoring coral spawning, attracting plankton to feed corals, or as part of deep ocean baited underwater cameras. Units are also used to record imagery on reefs 24 hours a day for monitoring habitat occupancy by fish and mammals (including tourism).
